Today was another busy day. It started off with class (as usual) and then went up to Cleveland State University to go to the AIGA Portfolio Review they were having. I only got the chance to talk to one reviewer but it was still a good experience. Although he didn’t give me much feedback about my work, it was still nice to get the experience and to be able to talk about my work.
After the portfolio review, my evening was spent at The University of Akron’s Relay for Life event that I participated in, in memory of my amazing brother and my incredible grampa. Hard to believe it is already my fourth year (and final year) that I have participated in it at Akron. I’m extremely grateful for all the wonderful people that helped donate to me for this amazing cause and I cannot thank you guys enough. I am so proud to have been the top fund raiser again this year out of over 900 participants. This is such an amazing cause and I really hope a lot of good comes out of all the funds raised by everyone who participated. It’s truly an accomplishment and I am so thankful for having my family and friends there to support me.
As a final note. For anyone who would like to donate to the wonderful cause of the American Cancer Society, please feel free to go to my Relay for Life site and help donate. They will be collecting donations through this link until August 31st, 2013. I thank you in advance.
